if you don't take it as seriously as >>>ranked<<< just stay out.

How many times have you heard (or worse yet said) ... "It's aram" meaning "it is not important"? Guys and gals, if you don't take a mode as seriously (as seriously as you can any game) don't play that mode. Others do take it seriously. And while rito may have degraded aram with mark/dash, it is still the only mode worth playing.

I hear it all the time in Teambuilder "It's just TB, it's only for practice" said a feeding teammate once. Uhhhh no? it's a normal, just like blind pic, and i'd like to win god damnit

I agree and disagree. If you go 0-10 as a champ because you don't know them well in TB, I feel that is fine. It is a mode to practice a champ without the pressure of ranked. However, if you feed to be a dick you should be reported.

That means there are no muck around maps that we can play, in oce we only got Ranked-Blind pick-Aram-Ttl so idk we kinda have to fuck around.

I think the intended sentiment is just "Don't ruin matches for other people."

Alternate game modes tend to receive minimal, if any, official support, while SR gets, well, everything. As such, it's relatively common for SR players to think that all the alternate modes are gimmicks and that SR is the only competitive map. However, the reality is that every map is competitive, and the lack of a ranked queue often means that casual players are matched with hardcore players.

So before deciding to troll because "It's just X," consider that, for many players, it practically is a ranked game.

Dominion is about 20x more balanced and competitive than TT, yet TT is somehow the one with the ranked queue. And even on TT, there are solo players who can't do ranked because of the premade requirement.

ARAM in its current state should be "play to win", but "expect to lose." You should always try your best, but you can't take things seriously when the enemy is made of smurfs abusing free win champions by only unlocking the most OP, and rampant dodging whenever they roll a free week champ with no real punishment.

In order for ARAM to be taken seriously, it needs to 1: Unlock the full champion pool for everyone, and 2: Increase dodge penalties to include MMR loss equal to a lost game, and only count down the timer while logged in.

i agree with WinSomeLoseSome, i feel like aram is a good place to get the feel for a champ you're not used to and get some good practice, so if someone is bad don't give them hell for it. but purposely feeding/griefing doesn't belong in any game mode, and is pointless.
