I looked at Sa20 and it seems that there will be a shadow isles event soon.

Aside from maybe Hecarim there is really nothing in these lores that contradicts the existing ones,so it is safe to assume that they don't retcon anything aside. They are just short introductions for the characters,not their full lores.
Hecarim needs a retcon though,his whole lore before described how he entered the League,so it didn't make any sense anymore anyway.

I wouldn't bet on it that much. They have not even finished the Shurima's long lores version yet, I don't think they will be up to something major in so short a time. For now, it's only champions getting the short bios on the client. An event it's likely though, but I don't think it will be big. Unless they had it prepared beforehand, but it's better to hope this is not the case, because it would mean it would be most likely a Shurima-styled one, without improvements learnt from that lesson.
Nope, there's already been one. It's the Harrowing (aka halloween event) that's incoming.
