Ao Shin Theory

This is a long shot. Hear me out.

The Blood Moon Theory is a thoery that after four consecutive blood moons, the world will end. Let's place this into Runeterra- there's already three blood moon skins. Two are Ionian, maybe three depending on who Kalista allies with. She looks looks like she was Ionian.

My theory is that there will be a fourth Blood Moon skin, and then Ionia will be in grave danger, hence the arrival of Ao Shin.

It's just a theory.

EDIT: The fourth blood moon (Thresh) has arrived. We will see if I am correct.

I never noticed that. I like your theory, and I think I can lend it some more credence. Udyr was born under a Bloodmoon, meaning that Kalista's (presumed) resurrection would actually be the 4th Bloodmoon. Since Kalista is the last champ of 2014, maybe this means Ao Shin will be the first champ of 2015?

It surely is a fascinating theory :) And Riot might exploit it since they know there is gonna be a long and hard work around The Rain Dragon.

Interesting. I've never heard of that, but Riot likes using myth references. It would be pretty clever, and although skins are non-canon, the Blood Moon skins actually do have a Lore background, in one of the JoJ issues.

I think Ao Shin will return to save Iona from the Black Mist. It took the Ionian fleet so long ago. It is creeping upon Bilgewater.

Soon it will get to Ionia.

I assumed that because the Ionia/Noxus war didn't finish because there's no League to resolve it, that Ao Shin will come about to end the conflict. That's my theory at any rate.
