Xerath might just be of a comsic level for too few years compared to other cosmic beings (considering that he got imprisoned right after he became one). I really hope to have agood read on the Lore.

But Aurelion Sol seems really overpowered, really really powerful as fuck. So I dont think he can be stopped if he came to Runeterra for destroying. There are 2 options, he isn't that strong, or he isn't evil, just an annoying asshole.

Otherwise, a lot runeterran has to mix their power. They can even need Ascendeds.

Xerath is something that really, really powerful too anyway, his powers cannot be denied. And unlimited Xerath can fight against Aurelion Sol imo, but current one would just get a big pain in ass I think.

I could see this being a movie, aurelion sol vs the league champs. As even though many league champs are rivals, they have one thing in common. They want either victory, power, peace, knowledge, or they need the planet for something. I could see Xerath and Syndra forming an alliance with other powerfull mages ( Veigar ). Azir , Cassiopeia Sivir could work well together . Evelynn , Teemo and TwistedFate as the info gatherers. And I would die if the kinkou order Kennen Shen Akali ( how ever its spelled :P ) would have to form at least a temporary alliance with Zed and the order of shadows. Braum could meet Illaoi :3. It would be great. Lissandra Ashe Sejuani Anivia Gragas Olaf TOGETHER JUST I WANT THIS ;-;

A lot of them are super useless against Aurelion Sol. Zed, Lissandra, Anivia, Ashe, Sejuani, Gragas, Olaf, Shen, Akali, Kennen, Teemo, TF, Eve, Cassiopeia, Sivir, Braum. They dont belong to anti Aurelion Sol team. Only ones can work against Aurelion Sol that you list are Syndra (not that much but anyway), Xerath (the most useful one) and Veigar (he would probably be more impressive than Syndra because Veigar is master of cosmic energy).

I know you're trying to squeeze any info you can out of me, but I was super careful to state that Stars Shaper's name was appropriate to the video. I'm saying nothing beyond that, and implying nothing more than what I literally wrote!

(Also, I love that teaser. I particularly like how the glowing effect 'falls' out of the sky at the same time as he says "Some... fall to their knees". Neat.)

I sent an email to the audio team to thank them from the music - I even put the video on repeat to hear more of it! I keep convincing myself I hear Bard-like instruments kick in around 0:23, but that's total head-canon. And oooh those thumps at 0:33!!

IMO, those peeps did wonders with it - but now I have to_ wait_ for the login music to drop!

Lore-wise, Malphite is a walking Mount Everest but in-game, they reduced him to the size of a human. Kog'Maw is the size of a human foot in the lore but enlarged in-game so we can see him.

The power creep in the lore is getting stupid. Riot apparently wants people to care about the lore again, but how can there be any tension when one of the champions (which is to say, one of its protagonists) is a cosmic star maker that is literally billions of times more powerful than every other character combined?

Were he just a facet of the lore it would be one thing (if still stupid), but how we take Miss Fortune's struggle for control over Bilgewater seriously when there is a champion that could flatten it with his finger?

Also, the trailer implies that Aurelion Sol is a malevolent, or at least harmful, entity. If that is the case, how exactly will the lore justify Runeterra's survival? Is our resident mentally disabled Yordle going to beat him up with her big hammer?

I felt the same way about Kindred's release ("The new champion is literally death and as such it's impossible to fight her, but we made her a character in this video game and are gonna have Garen be able to beat her up!"), but Aurelion Sol is literally billions (probably more) of times more powerful, assuming the visuals in this video are accurate. At least Kindred was bound to Runeterra.
