My look on the Lore now Part 1

Now this is such i vague tittle so i hardly know where to start. Im not a writer so i cant really give a valid critique but ill try the best to just give my POV.Also i might give my head cannon about certain factions i happen to just feel like giving. i will start with the removing of the Institute of war. Now i personally loved the concept of it since i found it very unique but there was just one glaring flaw that made riot feel they needed to change It was destined to stagnate but what i mean is that Since the institute of war was so powerful every nation was too scared to take any form of aggression in fear of swift retaliation of said institute.Now not only does this mean nothing will happen but it limits the scope of what champions they can make as they need to have reasons to join the league of legends. now we have many many more champions such as . i was sad that it had to go though since now its pretty hard to ship two champions that might never meet on semi good terms one of my examples would be and (idk about you but i shipped them hard) it also means everything is almost destined to be nothing but action/gore with maybe little room for any kinda other types such as more light hearted kinds of content but thats ok since we really didn't need that in the first place. TDLR Old lore too stagnate needed to go

Next we have Shurima finally getting some fleshing out since from the start of the game i had a hard thinking of what Shurima was like since the champions really didn't have much to do with Shurima even when they were still from it IE who was literally just some mercenary who could have come from any other place now she is the woman who has to choose whether to face her new found destiny or run from it.We get who is the rightful Emperor who is tragically was betrayed by a close friend who lusted for power and now he is trying to make things right sure he isn't perfect but that's ok in fact its great since news flash no one is perfect.We need characters who feel real despite that they have access to magic we need to bound with characters or despise them we need to have some emotion towards a character because thats how you know they did a good job of writing. I feel they handled his lore alright since i mean he is supposed to be a character of mystery and they gave us three stories we can chose to believe he may exist but he does not have any true interest in politics or most mundane things besides wanting a friend (my head cannon is he is an adopted yordel child in a long forgotten part of Shurima's past he got sick with a mysterious curse/illness that was originally meant for the true accender to the throne. he was bed ridden for the rest of his life one day the granddaughter to the kingdoms oracle heard his crying despairing over his fate she came to his window and would talk to him.on the after a week of this she desired to comfort amumu in person but what she didnt know was the illness will spread to whoever comes close hence why he is stuck in his room. in his joy of human contact forgot this part as well and rushed to hug her when they embraced he finally remembered that part of his illness.It was too late though for she was dead when he pulled away on finding out about this the oracle punished him in her rage that he would be cursed to forever live on the verge of life and death and have the curse stay with him.) Now for and I love this so much originally was a librarian who treasured knowledge and the spread of knowledge while was the gate keeper he would make sure those who sought out the knowledge had good intentions now the reason he went insane was the bad malefic intentions that some had would slowly corrupted him.After so many years his mind just gave out and he was driven to pure madness out of mercy tried to kill him but before the final strike could happen they but some weird chance they were summoned to runeterra.Now im very happy with how they change this as it keeps Nasus as someone who cherishes knowledge but still gave him a knew character old nasus was stale because he had no real character besides books and crazy bother now he is and old shuriman Elite who got sick by and was dying.Now because he was so beloved by the people and Emperor of Shurima himself was found worthy and was gifted with ascension.Now He was only known for one thing being a crazy alligator man who craves blood shed and is driven by the desire to kill his book worm brother Now he is a highly brutal and respected/prized fighter of Shurima a man who has seen and won many battles no matter the odds. sounds like someone i cant put my finger on....() anyway we even get a small glimpse of who he was as a child and who loved his brother was willing to bring him to the spot where he was to be ascended even though there was a chance he himself would die and gave his life up to imprison the traitor known as .Much more information and a much more "real" character over some guy who came from another world and had previously guarded a library just because his brother was the librarian.We get completely new characters without losing the most important things that made us take notice of them while giving them a new identity that fits the new lore they are trying to create. when he is first introduced he still came from shurima and honestly his lore didnt really change much i mean i really have nothing much to say about him i can at least say that he changed in a decent way i mean he was at first a mage who made his own ritual and gave up everything for limitless power but now he was once a slave that only ever dreamed of freedom he became friends with a child of the Emperor of Shurima he then saved the life of this child of course he couldnt do the same thus letting his friend become the new successor to the throne he had no idea his friend was going to grant his wish and free all slaves thus betrayed him for power now honestly i understand that was a slave tempted by power he was born thinking he would never be able to change his destiny and suddenly he is thrown in a spot where he can finally take charge. unfortunately someone should have told him to have faith in his friends his selfish actions caused the death of many innocent people and the lose of his best friend.what happens from here is a mystery with a new person being added to the equation Shurima's future seems very uncertain will accept her new found destiny? will win over and make Shurima great again!?(not trump) will free his brother of his madness in a way that wont kill him or will he die to his brother ?Will snap out of it and join his brother along with his Emperor to defeat the entity that caused his misery in the first place? will rule Shurima and the world with his new divine form (probably not as long as have anything to say about it) will he die by the hands of his or will he see the evil in his ways and repent (probably not that either) or will he defeat only to finally see the light (maybe idk sounds like a way to make feels) And how does the new champion add to this mix? will she join to face ? these are all the questions i have and all i have to say is this new lore seriously makes me fucking excited to read more! this was already getting too long so ill just stop and make another part later TLDR New Shurima lore 10/10
