Why doesn't Xin's horse in the Commando splash have shades?
This seems like a pretty obvious oversight to me. I mean, olive drab and shades are basically the whole point of the skin line, right?

The real question is: Why does Commando Xin have a horse in his splash, but not in-game?

Because -2 dmg instead of -1 from
