Let's talk Mordekaiser....
I was bored today and so I decided to ponder what I'd like to see in Mordekaiser future (However far may it be) rework... But not in terms of abilities (Though I have some ideas about that as well...), but rather his... personality. In League of Legend podcast they talk a lot about him and his goals... And I've been wondering what would someone like him... be like.
First thing I'd love to see, that comes from his very first lore is cunning and intelligence (Quote from his first lore: "However, there is something in his clever tactics, something in his noble stance, and something in the tone of his unearthly commands (...)") While I love his new lore I'd love to see more of those clever tactics, scheming, rather than just plain brute force (Brute force is nice as well, but we've already got big muscled no-brainers in league). They actually mention some of this in the podcast: "Everytime you think you got him, he has his backup plan ready for the next incarnation". Still, I'd like to see a bit more of that.
Next thing would be the way he acts: Sure, everybody likes barbarians yelling their throats off, but I think that Mordekaiser should be... Well, calm. Tone of someone, who has already seen more than any other person could even fathom... Someone, who knows how powerful he is and why the enemy can't defeat him, not because of arrogance, but because he had experienced that many times before.
I'd also like to think that since he once lost because of his... well, arrogance... that now he'd be better aware of his own limitations. Know the boundaries of his own power.
In the podcast (At the set time) they talk about how his current main goal is to become human again, because he is dissatisfied by his current state: that while yes... Immortality is nice, then still he wants humanity and not undeath. And that actually that's his biggest weakness: Because right now he is basicly invulnerable, but if he was ever to become human again it could possibly lead to his downfall... And I love that idea and what I'd love even more is if he would well realize that his desire may just get him killed - And if he would face a constant debate with himself, whether he wants to risk everything, his unlife for... Life.
... And as a side note I'd also like to know what exacly does he think of other SI denizens, especially Karthus: also, just how much humanity is left in him at the moment. Like for example could he actually get at least a bit attached to another being, or is he completely emotionless.
And now, as usual I am nearly certain that I'll get nearly none, if any at all, replies to this, but damn, I'd just love to discuss those issues. ... And yes, I really had nothing better to do than write all that stuff about a champion nobody cares about in a post nobody will notice.
