New icon featuring Morde on PBE
Looks completely sick! Seriously. The color scheme works so well, he looks so haunting and cold. I am really happy about how it looks. It's also interesting how the helmet is in fact closed, but has 2 layers.

Personally, I was hoping Morde would have a more traditional Noxian black/red color scheme with his VGU — though since he’s more closely tied in with the Shadow Isles these days, the spirit teal makes sense too.

I'm super excited to see him. Think this is the first time I'm legitimately excited for a rework.
I just hope he's the big baddie of League of Legends, kind of like how Thanos is the main antagonist of Marvel (or at least, The Avengers). Have Ryze be the guy trying to stop him from collecting all the special runes /artifacts too.
if malicious metal already playtested the new morde, that means that his gameplay must have already been finished, and only the number tuning would have to be done at that point, if that wasnt alredy finished aswell.
so the only thing thats left is completing his assets (voiceover, models and animations) and bugtesting.
considering it has been quite a while, and theyre already releasing some of those assets, the new morde should basically be almost finished.
which makes me wonder if hes going to hit the pbe within the next month.
Seeing how Malicious Metal's literally contributing to the reworking of his favorite champion, it makes me proud of how he's willing to do anything to see Mordekaiser become a juggernaut of epic proportions.
The hue (pun unintended) also looks different enough from the greenish SI champions (I would still have preferred him red-eyed though).
Can't wait to see him in his full glory.
I... really really like it. I will say I'm still not sure about changing his colors to be Shadow Isles-like, I did like how he was more red originally which set him aside from the Isles champions because his undeath was caused by something else.
That said, Mordekaiser's power to control souls also syngergizes with the Mists own power, so it does make sense he would match the colors of the Isles more closely as he gains power there. Either way this looks super badass and I can't wait to see him.

Coven Lissandra in her teaser is cold. This here is just one angry metal boi.
Would hope for more of a black soot texture laced over the iron when Mordekaiser is finally revealed. This icon makes his, what should be very ancient and battle scared armor look particularly clean with a bit of a sheen to it.
Is he coming before New Champ I dont understand why they are teasing him so much??

Why are they putting all these Mordekaiser icons on the PBE already? Is he going to get surprise released or what's the matter? I thought the new support champion comes before him, it makes no sense that they are flooding us with Mordekaiser hype stuff.
