Post-Noxus lore update, what is the plan now for Sion?

So this discussion was brought up a couple times after everyone was finished reading the Noxus update. As some fans had picked up on the subtle disconnect between Sion's lore from when he was reworked and the lore that was released alongside Swain's update.

Below was the only thing close to an official response over the subject.

Interlocutioner: "Sion's lore is still mostly intact, with changes to Darkwill (he's not centuries old- he wants to BECOME that) and Noxus's relationship with Demacia (not to mention no more High Command, its the Trifarix now) requiring some minor changes. Maybe the Black Rose still helps Swain? Keep your enemies close. We will have to clean this up eventually, sorry about the mess."

At the time I looked forward to the prospects of continuation for Sion lore, like how the MF comic continued her narrative forward after the Burning Tides & Shadow and Fortune story events. That was back when some theorized Sion might get something extra with the Noxus LU. However now we have to wait upon some uncertain time in the future just to have his current lore fixed instead.

So I want to know what you guys think would be the best strategy for handling Sion's broken lore? Could the writers just re-release his current story with minor additions and tweaks, or should the now broken lore be recycled for a revised new biography?

I can't say im too excited by the thought of the latter. On the basis that he was only updated 4 years ago and his background was already re-interpreted to meet the standards of current lore. I mean it could have been cool that Sion was among one of the few champion's whose lore could have legitimately progressed in some major or minor way.

I also can't stress enough that this isn't to bad mouth the narrative department. I have no qualms with the fact that Sion's lore is out of continuity now because I know it's only a temporary issue. Although the thought is frustrating that we don't know when this could be fixed, writers promised to re-visit Noxus this year apparently, but I would be honestly shocked if it were to happen before the coming 6-7 months.

Is there really anything in Sion's lore so broken that it can't be fixed with some small edits? Nothing really stands out to me as a glaring discontinuity. The only real problem I have with his lore is that it implies that Demacia had at one point besieged the Immortal Bastion, which is quite out of character for them, as well as quite unlikely considering how deep in Noxus the Bastion is located.

If Boram Darkwill is no longer an ancient warlock then he can't have know Sion personally, but that doesn't really impact the story too much. It could just be changed to another Grand General of Noxus who failed to resurrect him.

Honestly they can keep Sions lore mostly the same. Sion having fought Jarvan the first isn't that unusual depending on how old J1 actually was at the time of his death and how old Boram was at that time. So if J1 was like 50 and Boram was around 20-30,then it would still add up,it would just meant that Boram was already quite old when Swain overthrew him. Swain searching assistance from the black rose isn't much of a problem either considering that it is implied that he has made some kind of deal with Leblanc and that he gave her a seat among the trifarix.

Only Demacia actually attacking Noxus seems a bit odd,but then again,we don't know if Demacia was always so passive as it is now.

Just a small consideration. Would it be a good idea to rewrite Bohram Darkwill from Swain's update lore to actually be Keiran Darkwill?
