I thought this needed to be shared.

So this is a link to a canceled storyboard. The page tries to be ambiguous about whether or not the story-board is/was intended for a League of Legends cinematic, but watching the demo clip it's strikingly obvious the two characters are and , quite possibly being their first encounter. My thinking is perhaps it was (maybe) intended to be this year's follow up to Ryze: Call to Power.

My take away from this is that hopefully, Riot is exploring the possibility of continuing to produce big budgeted cinematics, exactly like Call to Power was and this WIP project is just remnants of a lot of creative development work from behind the scenes. Regardless, holy fucking fuck that was awesome! Here players have missed out on a big one. What we might get instead (if anything like this at all) will remain to be seen.
