TLDR- They want to do some work to make PFE a better skin, but obviously they can't just redo it from the ground up

Anyway, I have some suggestions for what to look at when improving the skin, if you are going forward with that.

  1. The skin's transforming theme is linked to leveling up your skills, specifically your R. Would be cool if the particles for your abilities, or at least R, changed with the skin. Not in major ways or anything, but I think it would be a great thematic way to make the skin more unique.

  2. A lot of people have complained the skin feels clunky to use. I felt like it had to be mentioned that this is a good time to look at that.

  3. the textures, obviously

  4. I really don't like the splash. It's actually my least favorite Ezreal splash. This is really pet peevy of me, but I think its his hair, its too long, if it weren't waving in the back it would be like... extremely long. So my personal recommendation is give him a bit of a trim :o or just a new splash tbh

Hi hi!

I'll preface this with, we don't have any concrete ideas or have officially committed to anything, but now is an awesome time for suggestions as to what we could improve.

From a personal perspective, I think your points aren't hardcore requests, such as modifying how the skin itself is built, and the experience it provides. I know we'd mentioned that we aren't trying to push him up to more recent ultimate skins.

I think particles would be a great way to enhance the current state of the skin. He's kit isn't crazy in itself (older champions tend to be this way, hah). I would love to see what current day particles would mean for a Pulsefire thematic. IMO, it'd be more than just blue particles. :P

We'd previously made adjustments to PFE in terms of clunkiness, but this would be an optimal time to check in on the animations, and see what could be updated to make it feel more sleek.

Yeahhhh. Textures. 100% with you on that one. :P

I think splash would be one of the lower priorities on the list, depending on the scope of the update. We'd want to make sure we address the skin itself before we would look at the splash, but like I said, we haven't locked anything down, so it could still be on the table.
