And then use THAT, which has nothing to do with what I'm saying, to say that im out of line.

You are the one who is out of line. I am allowed to not like the way a champion looks for aesthetic reasons. She could have looked the same, with eyebrows that are not so far removed from what humans have and still be unique looking---the only reason that was done is to look different for the sake of looking different...its interesting or subtle, as real art often is.

Oddly Silent? Garen had been out forever when I started playing. No one ever asked me my opinion on him, nor would it make sense to bring it up out of nowhere.

Yes, the head to body ratio on Garen's main skin is beyond ridiculous. That's why his other artwork like rugged Garen work much better.

Well from your narrowminded perspective maybe. But theyre not unmaintained and unkempt, theyre a preferred style of evenly kempt, same volume eyebrows that is a unique aspect to the design her character; you can see theyre trimmed to that design. I mean really to so spitefully slander her character because her eyebrows are bushier than youre typically used to seeing, it just makes you sound like a bigot and a facist, ya know? Not saying that you are one of those, mind you <3

It's an unusual look, but not one that equates to her being unkempt--clearly you can see in her artwork she is regal--,or doesn't shower or brush her teeth all because her eyebrows are bushy? Anyone that has bushy eyebrows is unkempt and doesnt like to clean themself? Come on, good sir/madame you're better than that, right... ( ಠ_ಠ)

What about Graves or Braum ? Theyre eyebrows are just as big if not bigger and untrimmed unlike Taliyah's. Well what if you shaved off their moustaches what would they be left with? Big bushy eyebrows. Swain 's eyebrows are so bushy theyre growing up into the air. Singed doesn't even have eyebrows. Oh but theyre men so its not weird or unacceptable.

All that does is make us realize you are the narrow minded one---you just basically said his opinion is coming from a narrow minded (as in, ignorant or even stupid) position, thereby marginalizing anything he says.

Exaggerating the bigness of a male character eyebrows is artistically consistent since men have bigger eyebrows usually. That design of her eyebrows would be like....making a male character...and then, for no reason, giving him a super SUPER tiny nose--which would throw the design off because men naturally have larger noses than women.

You are completely illogical in your reasoning and arguments. I suggest you drop out of whatever liberal college you are currently in and join the Marines so you can learn some sense.

And i don't mean it to be insulting but its literally being very small-minded to think that women can't have eyebrows like taliyah--or to so vehemently have a problem with her eyebrows to begin with. Looking over the replies here you mention design quality a lot, yet it seems to me like you just throw "it's bad" on something you personally dislike, without actual design considerations. I want to see what design or drawing work you've done that gives you such an expert opinion on what is good or bad design.

Critiqueing the quality of a visual design when you have no working knowledge of design principles is equally stupid. Call it ugly if you feel that way but don't go calling her design "bad" when you don't know shit about good or bad design.

One of the keys to good design is distinction, standing out from the crowd. Taliyah accomplishes this on a large "recognizable silhouette" scale with the ribbons on her arms and her flowing bouncy movements. But her face design (the nose and eyebrows) give her visual distinction on a smaller close-in scale. It gives her face a character and recognizeability that separates her from other people. It also helps avoid the "same-face" problem that you get when designers try too hard to make a character face that appeals to generic audience wants. It also avoids the problem of "every female is a busty supermodel" that game media runs into a LOT.
