When do Kayle and Morgana get new lore, and what will it mean for the characters?

Riot has been slowly but surely scrubbing summoners and the Institute of War from the records in line with their new vision for Runeterra. This has resulted in different backstories for Renekton and Nasus, who were previously two of the many champions whose reason for being in Runeterra can be summarized as "trans-dimensional kidnapping and/or extortion." That list also includes Kayle and Morgana, so it's only a matter of time before they get rewritten too. Does anyone at Riot or outside of it have any idea when that might happen (besides "soon")?

When it does, what do you think their backstory should be? Perhaps they will still originate from another world but came to Runeterra of their own accord, either as refugees after ruining their world with war or in order to meddle in Runeterran affairs. Perhaps they're precursors who drove Aatrox and the Darkin to near extinction in the interest of peace, then turned on each other after they thought the deed was done?

Also what factions and characters do you think should be important to their story? The Kayle/Morgana sibling rivalry should of course be untouched. I think there's also great potential as mentioned earlier to bring Aatrox into their story, given angels and demons just fit together. An alliance with Demacia makes 100% sense for Kayle, but I see Morgana's anarchic principles as fitting Zaun better than Noxus.

If you have opinions on what Kayle and Morgana's new lore should be I'd love to hear them! Hopefully the narrative team, which has been on a hot-streak since the Sion rework teaser, takes our feedback into consideration when they make any changes to the characters.

I've heard murmurs that Kayle and Morgana will retain their 'extra dimensional' origins, but never really saw a verified link. Frankly, if they do not decide to co-opt them into becoming Darkin (?), I'm curious what they will attempt. Ancient race once at war (or maybe still) with the Void is a possibility, though we dip into that delicious cliche trope they're both plagued by.

I wouldn't mind them fitting into the 'higher powers' category, ala Celestials or even more, honestly. It would help paint the ecosystem, but certainly in those delightfully vague, eldritch horror flavors that Gods tend to evoke. We already have the extra-dimensional invaders (Voidlings), the spirit world (Kindred, Bard?, Tahm Kench), the Ascended (their exact place on the hierarchy is unclear), but nothing ... 'greater'. No proverbial apex beings greater than simply Runeterra or the Void.

Perhaps they don't fit into that picture, but there's nothing wrong with being servants, either.

Right now mount targons and shurima are next they are most likely low on the list , so I assume the new lore for them won't come until 2017 they are really slow pace wise with the lore, as far as what it will be I think it will be close a biblical story
