Why Poros have become the "mascotte" of LoL and not the Minions?

I mean, poros are kawaii cute and whatever, but why no one ever mention the minions?

iF you ask me they are the CORE of League of Legends and one of the first things that comes to mind thinking of it. I Know that maybe actually Minions have no "real lore" or background they are just there for gameplay, but damn they'd be PERFECT as "Mascotte" of this game.

Everywhere there is something LoL related is "Poro here, poro there, blitz cathing poros ...:" I mean why no one ever consider these poor little fella getting sloughtered millions times a day.???

They are also kina cute,, so there is no excuses. MINIONS FOR MASCOTTE

Why would you want to have minions as a mascotte, when you kill about 400 of them each game?

I totally agree, how can these adorable dudes go ignored and unappreciated??! THEY ARE SOO FREAKING CUTE WITH THEIR TINY WANDS, TINY SWORDS AND TINY CANNONS LIKE HOLY FK I WANT ONE.

I like the little catmouserabbit things in Lulu's splash art. Poros are...okay. Catmouserabbit things are better.

Really simple: A lot of games have minions in them, but only LoL has poros. summoner 31 Why would the minions have such big importance if they are so "unoriginal"
