Why does every female champion have to look stunning?

I mean not every warrior is gonna be a 10/10 hot babe who is drawn to perfection. Maybe Fiora should be our less attractive female champion who kicks ass because her "beauty" has nothing to do with her stomping people into the ground. And while I think the in game model should definitely get a little work done on it. Since it looks pretty bad. I think the splash art should remain the same and they should try to make the in game model look as much like that as possible.

The problem is taking an established champion and making such a drastic change on what's intended to be a relatively minor rework.

I mean, can you imagine if Urgot was made to be one of the attractive guy characters? You could argue "He's already shirtless, why not?", but it still doesn't feel true to who the champion is. Yet if he's getting a full blown rework, that makes more sense than these Fiora changes.

My personal thoughts the splash art is that I can't see past the pink hair. It needs to be red. I saw someone make a variation on the new splash that had her hair half covering her face, like it is on the live splash, and I did like that better as well.

PS: I think League needs an Old Hag champion. Seriously, 126 champions and we don't have a traditional old hag yet?

While the male champion cast has some nice age and appearance diversity, the female champions all seem to be in their early twenties...

But god forbid we might reduce the needless fanservice in the game, no?

People aren't against diversity in females.

People are against taking an established, well-liked character and completely ruining her design for the sake of "diversity". Especially when that "change" doesn't fit who Fiora is supposed to be, even according to her lore. Fiora is SUPPOSED to be the YOUNGEST daughter of House Flaurent and a direct rival of Lux - and Lux is no more than 20-24 yrs. old.

The new Fiora looks like she could be Lux's fucking mother.

I don't mind them bringing more diversity in champion design but they should practice that on NEW champions not old ones that people love.

I wish Riot would have gone all the way and made her actually old. It is not like she doesn't have an impossible shaped body already anyways...

Because no one wants to play an ugly woman on a video game. It's a short blunt answer, but true nonetheless.

Guys will inevitably play female characters whose looks are attractive for them and fit in closely to their personal tastes. Some woman also enjoy playing very attractive female characters because it feels empowering and lets them (albeit for a short time and only in fantasy,) feel as if they are that 10/10 hot chick that's owning lane all day. I'm not saying that the woman playing games are unattractive or are anything less than a 7 or 8. Especially since a lot of "gamer girls" are actually very attractive these days.

Anyway back on point here. An ugly female character that looks like Urgot or a manly looking woman, would just not feel fun to play as their appearance would dissuade you from even trying them in most cases.

This has to be some kind of bait but I'm taking it anyways.

Fiora looked pretty before, now she looks ugly as hell. If she started off looking ugly as hell, this "VU" would be okay. If she started off looking ugly as hell and the VU made her pretty, people would be complaining just as much as they do right now.

If they want ugly female champions, make new ones.
