Or at least have a special interaction with him. For example : Aurelion sol is known to mock almost every champion he sees, Why not make him make a liking for kassadin, For instance : I saw potential within you, I felt your great rage, Don't disappoint me! This is completely random quote i just came up with. Possibly make them lore related somehow What do you guys think?

Cosmic Reaver Kassadin is probably another alternate-reality skin. My guess is if the void finally breaks through for the final war between the Runeterra and the Void. He's probably been granted some of Aurelion Sol's power in that universe. It might be the same timeline that created other skins like Overlord Malzahar.
