Can People Stop Bitching About GP Being Disabled

Riot put a lot of work into this lore event, and even re-engaged us summoners by showing that lore will have an impact on the actual game.

When the OLD NARRATIVE LEAD said that riot would be seperating the game from lore, everyone bitched and moaned and cried about how that wasn't good and that the lore SHOULD impact the game.

Now, we are getting exactly that, in an amazing execution, resulting in a champion getting not one, but TWO visual over-hauls, and then giving EVERYONE who has played gangplank during the burning tides a FREE high quality skin.

But nah, people always gotta bitch about something.

Community: "We want good Lore! We want lore to matter!"

Riot: "Okay! Here is an amazing event, including an actual resolving plotline in which champions grow and develop as characters!"

Ungrateful Chillens: "Fuk u rito gimme bak gangplank we dnt wnt no lore fuk u!"

This board is not a massive hivemind. Stop thinking it is, it makes you look silly.

Personal opinion: I don't play Gangplank, so I don't really mind him being disabled, but if a champion I enjoyed were disabled for a week I'd probably be upset. If you want lore to periodically remove part of the cast because it's "impactful" then more power to ya, but anything more than two days is just silly.

Some people want an engaging story, others just want to grind ranked. This is more about the difference and confrontation between these two groups.

There can be overlap, but often people just pick a side.
