She's a predatory plant that has a mouth. Does she eat like humans and other animals would, or is she more along the lines of other predatory plants like the Sundew that trap their pray and eat them via releasing digestive enzymes?
I'd say trap and break down, probs. At least in her short story, she wraps up her prey in her plants and seems to slowly kill them to eat. Maybe she can do both tho but im betting just the trap and consume.
If she stands with both feet in the ground she can absorb nutrients from the soil.
Unfortunately for the Kumungu jungle, dead people have more nutrients in them than soil does.
