Cassiopeia already had her visual update the same date with Renekton, they both got new models and new splash arts during the Shurima Event, even though they did not included new animations in the models they still counted as Visual Updates (like Singed,Maokai etc). She might get gameplay changes but for her model that's it dont expect anything further, and no it's not outdated she got a completely newer model in compare with her old one
Even if yorick is a priority for riot ( i guess ) but she could use a new base model with her gameplay update .

She'll probably get a visual update like what they did with 
She literally had an MTU a couple years ago. Plus they said that for the Mage Update there'll be no model changes
Cass doesn't exactly look amazing but she's far from bad. She looks pretty good in fact. There's a few champs who could use a VU before her. Morgana, Malzahar, Evelynn, Mordekaiser, just to name a few. Even Riven could use one before Cass, her base model looks meh and most of her skins (Dragonblade and Arcade being the exceptions) look just as meh or straight up like crap. Though she's still nowhere near as bad as the others I listed.
If you ask me, I think Morde and Morg need the next visual updates (after Taric).
Its no surprise that a lot of champion models don't fit the splashart.
I mean look at Dreadknight Garen.
1: Particles are completely different in splashart. In game, he uses the same as his default.
2: The sword only partially resembles the splashart.
3: The red is extremely dull in the ingame model. Especially the jewels.
4: He overall resembles more like his pre-rework splashart than his current.
