Diana's specifically been referred to as being blessed by the Silver Moon, so I don't think it's unintentional. Said moon is also seen as an ill omen for the Rakkor and the Solari.
If you look at the Targon emblem, you'll notice that it's now a mountain with several circles behind it.
Assuming these represent the celestial bodies over Targon, then the three smaller orbs would represent moons and the large one, the sun.
