Is riot SLOWLY removing lore?
i just feel like they are because they removed the institue of war with our adding any story to why its gone the champion lores are getting shorter aswell....

They're in a transition of some kind to a new 'lore deployment method' that still isn't entirely clear. For the most part we have the usual 'trust us' decree the few times they've come out in public to talk about it. It's all hush hush, in general.
They're retconning. They mean to add more lore. Short lore is teaser.
If they planned on fully removing lore, they would not have done the following:
FINALLY showed us Azir and Xerath's long-story lore. Show us how many times the harrowing took place over the years Show us a map of where the black mist extended to. Mention champions we already know that had to deal with the Black Mist itself
I mean, if they didn't want lore, no point in mentioning how Miss Fortune and Gangplank had an "uneasy truce". Not "partnership." Truce. Which means, they decided to work together INSTEAD of fighting. At least we know under normal circumstances, they still feel the same way about each other.
Those aren't the full lores. The full lores are going to be up on the website, but due to a bug with the client they can't do that at the moment. You can see Xerath/Azir's already, but the rest are still under wraps. It's taking a while, but they should be coming.
