I'll admit I wasn't the most excited when I saw the name for the new skinline included "Mecha," especially since we already have so many skinlines of the same theme. But after looking into these, I think these might be my favorite sci-fi skins now. They seem to have a really good story behind them too, so I'm hoping we get some extra lore behind them.

Everything else seems super well-done. Really liking Freljord Sylas, Guardian of the Sands Janna, and Dragonslayer Diana in particular.

None of those champions make any sense as Dragonslayers. Should have at least had a marksman. And no i'm not talking about Vayne, I mean another new marksman to join the skin line. None of those 3 even give me a dragonslayer vibe, neither from their core identity, down to their aesthetics. People at Riot clearly lack talent and don't know which skin to attribute to whom. It's as if they are randomly slapping out skins to random champions and deliberately skipping the champions that actually would make a lot more sense with that specific skin line. At the senseless pattern they are following, we can expect headhunter bard/soraka/yuumi soon.

This is what happens when they release skins for champions that only make them money. They end up slapping skins to champions that don't make any inherent sense with the said skin lines.

I miss the good old days, pre 2012, when skins were actually attributed to champions that made sense and not because hey, they are more popular and make more money so just slap any skin to them regardless of whether it fits them as a character or not.

I am really confused here.

Looking at the skins, I thought that there is no chance anymore that Mecha Kingdoms are supposed to be our Lunar Revel skins, since Jax is literally the only one of them having any Asian vibes. But on surrenderat20, they have listed the Mecha Kingdoms emotes under "Lunar Revel".

These can't be the Lunar Revel skins, right? My disappointment would be endless, since these skins have nothing to do with Chinese culture at all. And denying Twitch his Lunar Revel skin to represent the rat zodiac would be the biggest bullshit I have ever witnessed from Riot's skin design teams.

Can't wait to see the rest of these splashes. They are looking great so far. So happy to finally see a Dragonslayer Diana skin :D that is one I have wanted for a long time.

Freljord Sylas also looks sweet :D The rest are pretty nice as well.
