New Varus lore makes Arclight Varus extremely strange lorewise

So, with the new Varus lore making him a Darkin, it really makes Arclight Varus nonsensical. According to this post, a Rioter explained the lore of Arclight. The reason the skin does not make sense is because Arclight Velkoz is some sort of Arclight deity who judges mortals to be under his servitude for eternity. The other Arclight skins, Yorick and Vayne make sense because they are dark beings fighting for purity(rescuing the Shadow Isles and killing evil monsters). But if Varus is a Darkin, he would be in no way be worthy to be in the Arclight Order.

A different thread had a theory that it was pretty much the option if Kai & Val somehow defeat Varus and control his body.

It was already said that Arclight Varus isn't canon anymore(this was already said before the new lore came out),just like the Pentakill skins who used to be canon.
