Could we NOT do a mass downgrade on splash art?
Almost all of the tencent splashes are a downgrade compared to our current equivalent, and more changes are on the PBE. Crimson Elite Riven, really?

Did you bother to read why they did it or even have any knowledge on the subject?
So first of all, when League launched the Chinese server and the North American server had different splash arts for unknown reasons. Now, Riot wants to unify all the splash arts across every server. So they picked the best version from each server and replaced them globally.
THIS IS ONLY A TEMPORARY FIX!!!!!!!!
They are creating new, improved splash art to replace all the old ones. But that takes a lot of time.

...but...have you SEEN the current Crimson Elite Riven? Its the most absurd fucking skin ever. At least the Tencent one is...semi-reasonable.
