So i 've seen alot of drama around lore changes affecting viktor through jayce which is tbh deserved. However i just noticed that Cait and a warden fought a Lunatic chem researcher and i'm afraid they might be referring to singed I never saw singed as a complete lunatic, different morals sure.

Also is it just me or is Zaun just depicted as the fucked up slums of piltover? I loved Zaun as it pretty much was the rapture of runeterra. But it seems like you want to make Character Black and white.

As jinx and Singed are my favorite champs by far i'm afraid you might just turn both of them into mindless lunatics for the sake of having a Bad guy.

now i'm not 100% sure it'll be him considering how Zaun is now Filled with lunatics. But please Keep your characters gray when possible and give the Viktor mains something back because holy shit, The whole story is just sucking jayce's dick while he acts like an asshole while defending the world from the Lunatic Viktor. tldr: Please don't make certain characters that were fairly neutral total assholes. the way it's going now i'm expecting singed to be a lunatic who experiments on everyone he can get his hands on and jinx will just be a serial killer terrorrist (even though you guys stated she only kills if it looks like it'll be fun/a spectacle, the guy sitting on fireworks example).

Ps: This is how i see singed, if you do see him as a lunatic good for you.

Singed is definitely black n white evil tho, maybe not jinx she might be the result of shimmer abuse and severe mental health issues.

Singed on the other hand killed thousands of ionian and his own allies with gas bombs in rivens lore (and thats pretty evil)

Just because a character is clearly in the wrong or evil doesnt mean they're badly written it means the overall narative has a clear understanding of its theme. You wouldnt consider the Joker a bad character because you cant sympathize with his actions would you?

I don't believe singed is a good guy, and probably closer to bad than good, however i liked how alot of characters hate him while he never met them because of his creations.

In my interpretation he just wants to do what he loves most and is willing to bear the consequences, while catching some gnarly waves in his free time.

These stories are well written i love how vi is more human now and not a child wonder. however i find it sad how characters like viktor are portrayed just to make others look better.

I mean let's be real here Viktor was on his way to becoming an villian even in his old lore. I mean other than knowing he got his creation stolen which cause him to go into depression and seems to be obsess with glorious evolution what else did we really know about him. Everything most people ascribe were mostly fanon instead of canon. Just like Reaper wasn't brought back by Mercy in OW. I mean getting piss over fanon seems to be a little sensless doesn't it?

I mean the problem is that Riot wants to make him Viktor an gray charator instead of the usual anti hero. Alot of people ascribe Viktor as anti heroic scientist instead of the crazy morally unhinged scientist like Riot intend. I mean you have to look no further than Viktor voiceline to get a good grasp on what kind of character he is.

Also people project to much of their morals onto character and often downplay the cruelty or maybe evilier aspect of people.

I don't think that Riot is making black and white character but people own strict morals that prevented them from sympathesizing with these new characters.

He get's depicted as a madman tbh. I checked his voice lines like you proposed. He just comes off as a person who prioritizes efficiency over beauty.

And can you blame them? This Character they have loved for such a long time suddenly becomes someone completely else. atleast yorick stayed a miserable man living alone albeit with different backstory and reason.

and ofcourse we project some of our own morals on the champion, that's the reason every champ is slightly different for different people. I know there's people who love jinx just cuz she's crazy. I love jinx because she's all about having fun and getting excited, yes she has a mental disorder no question about it, but i personally believe something happened in her childhood that split her personality. I remember reading Fishbones represents the normal girl inside of her.

I always thought of singed as that villain who really enjoyed his line of work. Crazy, yes, lunatic, no. While I do like the heroes and definite villains, it's always a nice feeling of playing someone who has very questionable morals like Ahri and Dr. Mundo.

and i respect your view on singed however i think that if they write these characters as a more gray that it allows for us both to see them how we want.

I loved Zaun as it pretty much was the rapture of runeterra. But it seems like you want to make Character Black and white.

I dunno how you get this idea. I mean in the new Piltover lore we see that Zaun gets treated pretty badly by piltover,it looks far more like a victim of the circumstances than outright evil. If anything it was originally depicted in a far more sinister light,since it pretty much started as "evil Piltover" with champs like Singed DrMundo and Warwick being easily among the most evil champions of the early days.

In the new lore they do show some good sides of Zaun here and there,with Orianna meeting a group that volunteered to help the victims of an accident or Camille and the ill girl getting helped by the glorious evolved.

Well lets read this small bit from his lore

Singed had little concern for the death and destruction that was the fruit of his labors. By the time the curse of lycanthropy descended to claim his master, Singed was poised and eager to make the transition from workhorse to innovator; he was ready to share his genius by bringing a new brand of suffering to the Ionian front.

Singed pretty much enjoyed bringing death and destruction to the battlefield,sure he might be more happy about his weapons being effective,but it still makes him an evil character.

because of the way the characters there acted. They did experiments that aren't exactly ethical because they weren't stopped by a government.

I got that exact same feeling from the new lore however seeing how they handled viktor so far i'm afraid they'll go the same route for the others. And you can't deny that most people will know Zaun as "That place Singed/Jinx/Ekko/Warwick/... are from."

Yeah, i hope they will keep Singed pretty gray. I've always seen him as the crazy scientist/alchemist who just want to try new things. He is just driven by the will to invent new mixture. But he doesn't really care about their effect, or if he cares, it's just in a scientific aspect.

He is more interested by the research and the discovery than by the goal of these.

He represent the spirit of ( Old ) Zaun : Science unchecked, without limits may it be moral or physical.

This type of character is interesting because their classification depends on our own moral compass.

exactly while i don't agree with some of his inventions, clearly they can also be used to help people considering he pretty much became a walking tank because of them.

I mean, it said in his lore that he named his Insanity Potion after his patron.......

so he's probably crazy but in this demented sort of "if this is the limit, how much can I push it" thing

Haven't read singes lore but from what I hear, he's maybe not a lunatic, but most definitely evil. Jinx on the other hand, there's no denying she's a lunatic. I mean, that's why I love her so much.

jinx most likely has split personality issues considering she projects them on her gun.

as for singed his lore just states he's a wonder child when it comes to chemistry but doesn't care about the way it affects him/others. All he cares about is improving his craft. which leaves alot of room for people to create their own image of singed. That's why he'd best be kept a rather gray character. Then you can decide for yourself whether he's evil or good. oh he also sold weapons to noxus.(rip riven's friends)

Singed isn't as out of this world insane as Dr. Mundo, but he's a callous and cruel monster.
