As you can see, he look much better in this artwork, and his model does need MASSIVE updates, along with his lore. So, I think that he could use a loving touch , and get some updates.

Anyway I think the new dawn model looks quite awesome and hope that jaxs update will be close to it. However it looks like Jaxs is currently simply no priority for the update team,which is kinda understandable,since there are so many champs who need updates.(not saying jax looks ok,because he doesn't but there are always champs who can use an update)
Angelofchaos16x1 votesYeah, I fixed the title, sorry bout that. But what I don't get is, sure , Rito has a lot a champs to update, but Jax should be top list. He look a lot worse then Fiora did and she got a update(Not judging if it was good or not). He really need a VU along with a identity. I get that "eggplant man" vibe and stuff, and find it really groovy, but still, after a while, the joke kinda gets old.
GreenLore3 votesOverall it seems that Riot is currently more looking for situational VUs,than just simply VUs.
Fiora got the VU,because she also got a gameplay update and that is something they do rather often recently.
Sure the top priority are champs that look bad and play bad,but these often need larger reworks anyway. And if they only did large reworks(I'm pretty sure Jax needs a larger one),then we wouldn't get the smaller ones in between.
Its also a lot of trial and error. They do icebox some updates if they don't manage to get any good results fast enough(Yorick&Warwick GUs were both once in the works,but got iceboxed because the new kits didn't work,Fioras also needed at least 2 attempts)
Ralanr2 votesEffectively they want to kill two birds with one stone as it saves productivity for future projects. With Fiora's update, they won't have to go back to her for heavy changes for quite sometime.
