Is it official that Gnar was frozen by Anivia?

I saw a Red post in another language that stated that as far as I can tell. Just curious if this is considered canon

It's not like I expect a Rioter to respond because there is no longer a lore team...

Well it is possible that anivia actually saved gnar with that.I mean looking at the cave paintings it is quite likely that gnars family was murdered by the watchers,so gnar most likely didn't have anyone left anyway.

Anivia supposedly froze him,so that he could fight against something in the future.She most likely wanted him to fight against the watchers and back then during gnars time,there weren't enough who could oppose the watchers,so if the watchers return Gnar would have a much better chance at fighting them,because there are more powerful people who could fight alongside him.

Also he has now probably a higher survival chance than during his time when watchers were controlling most of the land.

It's believed that his siblings were the ones to draw the cave paintings! As to what happened to them, it's not sure, but we're all hoping they lived out long, happy lives.

So our best explanation is that we have a 4 year old child being permanently separated from his family.
