Why did Riot trash the LoL Lore?
So I've been watching Targran's narrations of the old LoL lore and it was MUCH more interesting than what you find on the actual client. Can someone explain what happened?

ModWulf Helhammer1 votesThe full lore for champions is now going to be on the website, not on the champion page in the client. Those are just going to be short bios that give a brief rundown on what a character is (keep in mind that not all the champions have their long form lore yet, even if they have the short bio)

Headbiter1 votesThat was pretty much the point. Is Ekko's lore considered current or not? Gnar? Quinn? Rek'sai? (Ignoring for a second how much actual lore those champions have). All champions who came after the retcon and have no mention of the IoW. Will they get an "update" or are they already considered up to date? We don't know. Riot left us completely adrift on such questions, especially concerning the world we play in. For more than two years now.
So providing a link that basically says "Go figure it out yourself" seems a lot closer to the company message than some cherry picked examples of "more text, not necessarily more content."

If you mean why is the new lore bad? No one knows for sure, but I have a few ideas.
