I've been waiting for more Chroma skins. The last Chroma packs to be released were back in what, August if I remember correctly. Why have they suddenly halted? There are some champions and some skins that would have some really great Chroma potential, or we could up the anti and make chromas look even better.
Something something backlash, something something didn't sell well, something something controversial pricing and packaging.
Supposedly they're on break with chroma until they figure something out to make them more meaningful.
Chromas are for now iceboxed. They didn't sell as good as riot expected and aren't that much harder to make than 750 skins.
For a time they did send some surveys regarding different chroma options,so they are looking for other ways to include them.
