I fell in love with this piece since I started working on this album. Alex Temple, a riot composer, was the mastermind behind it, and created an unbelievably epic track, with such gorgeous harmonies, dynamics and story, that makes metal and orchestra sound like they're made for each other. Making the keyboard solo at 3:11 was a blast and honor for me. I hope you all enjoy it as much : ) All the best, -J
Lady Faceless6 votesYou did an amazing job on it!
Blade of the Ruined King is clearly my favorite title, especially as Progressive/ symphonic metal head.

Thank you! And it's definitely one of my favorite ones of all Pentakill as well. I come from Power/Prog metal and soundtrack music, but I think even regardless of the personal taste this track is a masterpiece on its own and I'm very grateful that I got to be a part of it.

Hey there! I have a Youtube channel -youtube.com/JoeAtlan- and I post some extra stuff on my facebook sometimes. The other guys work at Riot full time so they are more busy, but they're all awesome musicians: ProtoShredanoid, Xerath the band, and of course Jorn Lande and Battle Beast (the singers).
Thanks for the interest! Let me know what you think ; ) I hope you like it.
Luralin1 votesthe whole album is fantastic. Props to everyone who worked on it!
