Champions That Need a VU (at least to their base skin/vfx), But Not Necessarily a VGU

At least in my opinion, these champions could use a modernization to their base skin, maybe some of their older skins, and in some cases where they have not already been updated, their VFX.

Seriously though, I think there should be a VU team that works exclusively on cases like these where a champion doesn't need a kit overhaul, but is still showing their age visually.

Ashe, Tryndamere, Master Yi, Twisted Fate, and Katarina were VU'd in 2012. Ashe and Katarina have since received kit updates. They are not even remotely close to needing VU work anytime soon. Tryndamere, though, DESPERATELY needs that canker sore of a kit replaced with something less cancerous.

Elise doesn't need a VU. Corki is HELLA BAD and needs a VGU, his kit is god awful and awkward as hell. Malzahar, Rammus, and Shaco all need full VGUs, because their kits are antiquated and lacking in modernization.

The rest I'll give you. They could use VUs.

They did in fact, use to make purely visual updates. I don't exactly remember the reasoning they gave to why they swapped over to full VGUs since it was so long ago (prob back in like Season 4-5 when they stopped it). I don't think it was for monetary reasons as someone stated (although that's probably something Riot wouldn't admit to if that were the case). I am happy they are going back to it with the recent Ezreal and Morgana update though.

As for champions I do think need VUs. I do understand that some of the champions I list have had some visual work in the past, but with the way the lore has evolved since those times, I don't think their "theme" holds up as well as before. Also I won't put any champions that are already listed for a rework.
