RITO SHOULD HIRE A LORE TEAM.

We all know that the lore hasn't been what it could be, a great tale, and one of the best lore's in gaming history. But Riot has dropped the ball when it comes to this and are starting to take the lore in the wrong direction. I love playing league and its my most played game of all time and i will continue to play the game even if the lore is bad, but I'd just never read another champions background again. So Riot suggestion why not hire fans just like me and 1,000s of others who want a healthy lore. You really just need about 10 dedicated people bouncing ideas off each other to make a beautiful story. Of course we'd follow your guidelines and not do anything to crazy. But this would make league lore just as good as WOW. Also i think if you do do this we would to bring back the old lore with summoners controlling the champs. But instead of controlling the champs we can just call them aids like giving advice on what to do in battle so that the champs can keep their reason to fight in the league in the first place. This is just one idea. For all who agree lets create a poll.

I can understand Riot retconning the IoW, though I dislike it, and I hate the mentality with which they retcon, characters just get removed or changed freely.

But I still think the quality of the lore team is amazing. The Azir extended lore was better written than any piece of the JoJ I can remember, as was the Xerath lore. I might like the story they tell less, but the quality of writing is amazing.

I want this talented team to write lore I can enjoy without having to hold myself back. Now I have to because I know they are entirely willing to just remove entire characters in favor of new ones based on internal discussion without even giving me a chance to tell them it shouldn't be done for these reasons. I still get infuriated, frustrated and sad whenever I read Trundles retcon.

In conclusion, I find your poll to be flawed. I don't want to blatantly force these writers to revert to the old lore, but I do want to hear and question their arguments and new direction.
