While the two big dogs of DC and Marvel would likely offer broader distribution, there are two others I would trust to do adaptations and production as well or better.
First is Dark Horse Comics. Unlike the major two, they took a shot at releasing manga from Japan in the US and did a pretty damn good job at what titles they do. While translating and producing an existing title to the West is very different from creating an adaptation of a game, the effort of authenticity at least is a good sign.
Second, and a very long shot, Sirius Comics. I can't say much about them overall, but I can speak about one title in particular. Drew Hayes created and self published his own comic, Poison Elves (initially titled I, Lusiphur) for a while and struggled but loved making it. He was made an offer by Sirius to be published by them, and while some self published creators called him a sellout, Sirius to their credit let him run wild with his story, not editing or toning down the violence, sexual content, alcohol, references to drugs, or pressuring him to leave out some very heavy plot points about depression and other sensitive subjects. Sadly, Drew Hayes passed away tragically in the middle of a major story arc in a very conflict heavy place. Rather than force onward, Sirius declared they would not continue Poison Elves unless they were sold to the fullest it could live up to what Drew built. It was only very briefly relaunched before the lead at Ape Entertainment left for IDW, since then Sirius once again shelving the IP.
That kind of freedom to a creator and dedication to his work shows how flexible the company is and would be a worthy home.
