I've seen a few comments here and there in the boards and I figured I'd ask. But do you miss any of the old splashes in comparison to the new ones? Would you rather see a completely new splash over both? How would you feel about being able to change splash arts and character icons in game, just like skins?
Janna. I actually modded my client to hold the previous splash.
Still like the old Ahri splash better. Managed to figure out how to keep her icon outside of the actual game the same at least.
I can't think of an old splash I preferred over its replacement, off the top of my head.
Orianna's new splash just... absolutely blew me away. Gorgeous.
All the new ones are super detailed.
I miss Ahri's other splash all the way... :( The newer one still hasn't grown on me and it never will
I very much prefer Rengar's old splash. Can't recall others off the top of my head

Old Garen splash is much better.
Definitely Lux (it happened roughly 2.5 years ago, for those who haven't been here that long). Whatever the more "objective" quality improvements they made over the older one (resolution? lighting? I don't know, I have no experience in art things), I've always felt that her release splash captured her character best. Retouching the old one up to the newer tech/talent standard would have been awesome.
Yeah I generally prefer the new splash arts,can't think of one where I liked the old one better. Some needed some time getting used to them,but now I like them more than the old ones.
