Just my curious that how could they started the work such early considering Galio just released this month? Ok the team could finish working on him before March but is shouldn't be earlier than Feb? Did Reav3 included Exploration stage in 4 months too?

Wow, we have too many terms for this... but it's when a designer, artist, and writer get together and start planning the new version of the champion. While JohnODyin and LoneWingy were wrapping up work on Galio, they also started working on Evelynn.

Please know we appreciate the love being given to these champs (even if, as mains of these characters, we don't always see eye-to-eye with your decisions) and do keep up the hard work. ^-^

RiotReav37 votesWe have "exploration" teams that start work on potential future VGU's that start WAY earlier then the main production team. This consists of a Writer,Designer, artists and producer. This is the point when a project can easily be canceled or "ice boxed" so we don't talk about it until we are sure we have a solid core to go into full production with.
For example, while we have Urgot and Evelynn in full production now, we have 2 exploration teams working on whats next after Evelynn & Urgot.

Can I just say that the last few reworks were absolutely Amazing? Yorick, Galio and Warwick have all become champions I thoroughly enjoy and I would even call the latter two my "mains" alongside the big Metal man. At this rate I can't be regarded as a One trick anymore...

shen rework didnt hit the nail ... bad rework .. made my main into a worse version of shen galio rework didnt hit the nail ... galio is NOT galio anymore .. u named this champ galio but is not the galio feeling anymore morde rework was a big fail i can count this on ... i hope riot never touches my champs i main anymore .. everytime they become worse

mr Boombastic7871 votesAll new content is too good. I have gotten so many new mains lately. Au sol, Kled, Yorick, Camille, Talon, WW and ofc Galio. I wouldn't call all them mains but thouse are the champs I have enjoyed the most. Though my latest mains are Au sol (last summer), Yorick (just after the rework), Kled (in the absolute end of season 6) and Galio (last week). I have also mained Trundle a Little bit inbetween everyone since he was my first main and first to get to lvl 7. Just wp VGU team, champ team and roster update team!

you already talked about future champion reworks, but i still wonder if at any point the exploration team will ever work on Sona? Thing is master tier Sona mains+challenger+LCS players are in a delicate position as playing Sona is painful here, but work perfectly in any tier below
logically since riot wants a champion to work in all elos she should be reworked (if we also take 5 other arguments that she needs a rework) but riot never did anything "serious" to her so i wonder if at one point she would be reworked
