Riot caters to a Eurocentric standard of beauty. Most of riots females have the same features across the board. I was hopeful they were becoming open to other types of faces with the releases of 
but I guess they haven't figured out a way to showcase a sexy female champion without her looking like a typical European model.
That said I think the new Eve looks gorgeous, 10/10 will be monitoring r34 for updates. Just hope future females may actually have some variety (thick lips, round face, without tons of make up/eye liner)

Ah Yes lets base an entire Champs look off a teaser that only shows her face mainly.

Those are really basically the same face. Riot has even admitted that the majority of their female champions are basically interchangeable just different clothes.
Hopefully we see more of a difference in facial structure in her real splash art.

Well uh character designs aren't based off just their faces mate. U probably couldn't even see her face clearly in game. It's more of the body silhouettes and her hair seems to be floating with weird pink mystical stuff on top. Probably alters her look further from elise. Anyways so far eve's personality or whatever we can see of it seems different enough from elise.
And yes, so elise and Eve are going to have somewhat similar faces. So shall we just complain about every guy with a similar face?

I do see your point about identical characters but i think the praises and positive feedback are more toward how the overall design is without taking its creativity into account.
Creativity is important yes but take a look at anime characters or the usual standards we have in video games.many,many ( i cant stress this enough) MANY characters look the same, same style, same elements.cat girl with fluffy tail and seductive personality comes to mind or "heavy" armors that cover everything but cleavage or good looking dude with 6 pack and massive muscles.seriously how did Darius went from a teenager with a fairly slim figure into a dude with massive muscle build in that short period of time? (warriors dont have THAT kind of muscle build as far as historical images go)
but people still do find it enjoyable to look at and watch. another example? things like spiderman movies , batman movies, when i look at them i see the exact same things being repeated over and over and people still pay to see these movies, its not something i would enjoy or understand why they enjoy it but as long as they do and i still get my fair share of creative characters why not?
i mean it was pretty disappointing for me when i saw Xayah and Rakan, then came Kayn, and then Star Guardians its purely just my personal taste that i didn't like them, because i enjoy creativity more than anything else.and then suddenly Ornn came along and it just blew me off so im good.
going a bit off topic what about story creativity? Darius comic had the usual "i had a loved one in my past we were happy and all that until the world separated us" something we've seen thousands of times but then came Nami comics which was very sweet.
if we wanna only talk about creative female designs i cant argue the "these characters like Taliyah already exist" card cause i think your argument is that Riot is not trying ANYMORE like they losing their creativity? for me its too early to judge on that because Xayah and Eve are the only recent female releases.
but i do hate to admit that the recent overall designs has been a bit of a let down for me, considering how it use to be in recent years.but as long as others are happy with it i can sit and wait for my turn.

I mean I can see that one of elise's skins and evelynn's new teaser look similar but honestly why do you care?
The final product is gonna be different which is what actually matters even if you keep saying it doesn't, if anything what you just said in your post is the actual thing that doesn't matter at all.

The patterns may be similar, but everything else does a good job of expressing the ideas present in each picture.
When others say you cropped the images, I believe they mean that you focused on the faces, leaving out the rest of the character portraits. Positions, angles, and facial expressions are all different and express different ideas between the pictures.
The Victorious Skin represents something more dignified, triumphant, and elegant.
The Evelynn teaser is more primal, more malicious and significantly more seductive (some might argue).
The colors also serve to demonstrate this. Not everything in art is about the outlines, what the artists do to fill them in is just as important to the uniqueness of the character.
IMO you are making a mountain out of a molehill.
Its a staple in alot of games to make women similar and men so different because the main demographic is males who enjoy hot women. With that males are alot easier to make different because they can be big, muscular, lanky, fat, etc without being seen as a bad thing because men can be seen like that IRL without being unacceptable. Women on the other hand are a main selling point in a game made for teens/adult males so sexualizing women by using these features will bring in more players or keep old ones sure it would be cool to see different women but we haven't even gotten a full look at her and I certainly didnt see her as Elise she seems unique with what I can see sure her with the markings her glowing eyes shadows and all that. Lets just not judge her off one small picture and lets wait to see her full body.
