Seriously though, I think she looks pretty awesome. The SKT T1 second set is looking pretty nice as well (and dat Taric rework is just epic)

Riot doesn't learn, they are making the same mistake as they did with Dark Valkire.

This skin it makes me so angry that it must have been designed by zeronis, Zeronis always makes sexualized skins that i don't like, like hunter caitlyn (At least Cait is a sexualized character)

There is like 15 female champions to put cleavage, ahri? sure fits her, Eve? She already wears bondage as a base, but a character who is known for wearing a FULL ARMOR suit, it pisses me off.

Guess what IT FUCKING DID, is again not a "cool" skin but a Sexualized one, I WANT BLOOD MOON DIANA FOR A REASON, KALISTA SKIN WAS AMAZING, Blood Moon Kalista is literally what the Diana skin should have been, but it didn't happen.

Hiya!

Since you're mentioning me specifically, I'd like to clarify my statement. When you asked that she wouldn't look like the last two skins, I was speaking in terms of thematic. Infernal Diana is 100% different than her base, or Lunar Goddess, or Dark Valkyrie.

As I mentioned, this skin was determined based on players selecting Diana as the champion they'd like to receive an All Star skin, and then the fire/ice theme was selected based on who won - which was fire. In this case, we were clear that Blood Moon Diana wasn't going to be her next skin.

That said, it doesn't mean Blood Moon Diana couldn't happen further down the line.

To address the rest of your post, Zeronis wasn't the concept artist on this particular skin. Elena, one of our other artists was the chick behind the design for Infernal Diana. :)

As always, we welcome feedback for all of the content we create, but please try to be constructive and give actionable feedback.

For example -

There is like 15 female champions to put cleavage, ahri? sure fits her, Eve? She already wears bondage as a base, but a character who is known for wearing a FULL ARMOR suit, it pisses me off.

It's fine that you don't like the design, but how would you like to see it improved? What exactly are you looking for in this case?

Dont mind him Katey, hes just a troll that frequents the boards downvoting posts. The other 99% happen to think that this is a very beautiful and detailed Diana skin that we were all wanting.

Its not the creators that are sexualizing it but instead its you, at least thats just my view

Historically we weirdly have one million different names for fire skins (Infernal, Wildfire, Molten, Charred, Firefox, Scorched Earth). With that, as we try to take a more strategic approach to naming skin lines, we wanted to 1) Not create a new fire-named skin, adding to our already huge roster and 2) Lean into and reinforce our strongest fire skin line. With Infernal having the most and newest skins in that line, adding Diana (a really bad ass skin) to it would cement Infernal as our go-to fire line.

Out of interest, would you ever consider renaming some of the fire skins so there's less differences? Scorched Earth in particular I think is very hard to differentiate from Infernal.

That's a really good question. We have done some name changes on PBE before, so I don't think it'd be out of the question. Right now, we don't have plans to do so, but it's certainly worth bringing up!

would major changes occur in the pbe before live ? like when her initial dark valkyrie skin headdress was similar to syndra's base model? i mean like MAJOR changes to her entire outfit.

Major changes are usually done in development, but PBE also leaves wiggle from for changes if they absolutely need to be done.

That's good to know that it's a possibility since you even said yourself that you have a very large list of Fire related skins. So it might be good to look at them some day and possibly unify some of the names, so that there is less of a list.

it's really hard to call Wildfire Zyra copy as a badass skin for Diana. specially that she don't even look like Diana because of that ugly skin color. Dunno why Ahri can have normal skin color and run with burning tails and throws cool looking fire colored spells while Diana ended as some bad copy of Wildfire Zyra and look like yellow lightbulb

I would want a Diana skin that allowed me to play a Tanky AP build without thematic loss. I am thinking in bulky armor, heavy lines on her weapon, even an enclosed helmet. I would have loved an Scorched Earth Diana with industrial aesthetics and a furnace grate faceplate.

That being said, I think this skin is reasonably good. The model is somewhat generic (one of the very few times in which I saw a skin and though "yeah, I can totally see that as an enemy in some MMORPG"), but the fire particles are awesome, in particular those of Moonfall and her flamebraid. Her Hellfire(?) Blade I think is a very interesting concept; I quite like the visible weight and physicality that Diana's weapon has in her other skins, yet in this version she wields a rather slim (maybe even ceremonial) weapon, which gives the impression that she is primarily burning her opponents with infernal flame, rather than trying to cleave through their bodies.

There is no reason to not make sexy/attractive skins for Diana when every other (mature) female human champion gets those again and again...

there is no need to make Diana as the idol for feminist/SJW in LoL... Why does Leona, the paladin/knight in full body heavy armor runs in high heels but Diana in Dark Valkyrie or Lunar Goddess attires is flatfooted? She also got half skimpy beach outfit... and guess what = no one bitched/whined about it.

But when Diana got a bit more visible cleavage on Lunar Goddess skin then RIOT censored it few days before release of that skin. And no people like you want to mess up with another Diana skin.

Why you don't cry over Sona, Ahri or Nida skins when they are literally perfect examples of eversexualized skins in LoL... but you know what? they sell and that's why RIOT does more of those skins. My mind just can't understand why RIOT don't want to do the same with Diana when they do this with other female champions.

There is a huge diferent between a character already sexualized (Ahri, wich is part of the character) and sexualizing a character that is all about not sexualization.

You know why people like me complain wich every single Diana skin? Because no matter how much we ask them no give us a badass skin, they keep givin us this shitty skins, like lunar godess, wich not only they not actually fixed at all, is a pretty ugly skin.

Why i don't cry about other champions? Because Diana is the champion I LOVE, so giving me this shit actually offends me.

Dark Valkyrie only has new particles, and Lunar Goddess only has a new sound on her (E). Infernal Diana has a whole new sound set.

As for your "uhh sexy stupid" phrase you seem eager to repeat ad nauseam, let's take a quick stock of her skins for a sec, eh?

Base Diana skin: mostly full armor chestpiece which could hardly be called "boob-shaped"; gauntlets, greaves, shoulder epaulets...Joan of Arc she ain't, but just cuz she's not sporting full plate like Leona doesn't make her less able to dish out some hurt(if you're worrying about the skin clashing with the character theme, but I'm not that optimistic)

Dark Valkyrie: Probably the most "sexualized" of the skins, with a fair amount of skin showing. But I'm not reading "lol i'm a cutie sexy valkyrie, watch out boyz ;P" in that skin; I'm reading a harbinger of vengeance who really doesn't give two shits whether you see her bellybutton or thighs or not, cuz after she's done with you, your ass ain't seeing anything ever again. Ya dig?

Lunar Goddess: only slightly behind the base skin in amount of skin concealed, the clothing is loose and flowing, and it's meant to be due to the theme: most goddesses I'm familiar with don't tend to wear 80lbs. of plate mail. The skin evokes the gracefulness of the moon, and it does the job just fine. Diana looks rather regal and ethereal here, and dare I say it, peaceful.

So in short...I think you're complaining just so you can sound like you're saying something important? I mean, your opinion's yours to keep, but at least have some solid ground for your argument.
