Yeah, nah, players hate that stuff.

It's a really crummy feeling to take a playable character teaser and try to do an artsy story about the new playable from another character's eyes, and then develop that other character better in the story than the playable one. That causes you to have a huge chunk of players stop caring about the playable character and ask if we'll see more of that framing device when it's supposed to be the playable character's biggest time to shine in the history of the game.

You don't want players to be hoping some other character will be made during the exact period of time where hype for the new playable character should be at its maximum. If you want to tease that other character you can tease it when the new character hasn't just been released.

Yeah I think that were common criticisms for the new pantheon lore,rengars lore and the diary about the guy who wanted to capture rek'sai. That all 3 of them don't focus enough on the champion champion.

You could argue they sort of did that with the Burning Tides thing. Illaoi was basically announced during that but wasn't a major character at all.

Should have done something like that for Draven Day. 10 Dravens listed in champions. Teams could have gone full Draven, or only partial Draven if they didn't feel awesome enough.

Gameplay section. Not trying to put you down, but they in all honesty won't value your ideas considering where you are ranked as of right now. They tend to only take input on champion reworks from very high ranking players with hundreds of games on that specific champion.

I mean it still is sort of a teaser. While it gives a good explanation of her lore & thematic, it only gives us hints of what she could do in game & her design.
