Is it ever...sunny in the Shadow Isles?

That may seem like an asinine question but I'm honestly perplexed by this. What happens to the place during the day? Do all the spirits go dormant making the island seem barren (and possibly a death trap to those who rest on it until nightfall)? Does the mist reach so far and high that leagues of ocean are in perpetual night? Does the mist form a black and cozy hell bubble? Are the old glamour's that once protected the blessed isles still present, making things seem normal in the light until some poor saps cross over into them, almost like runeterra's Bermuda triangle? Or does no one on the island (except Maokai cause plant) give a ghostly damn?

"Above me, the sky is slate gray - as bright as it ever gets in this grim place." It's possible some of the islands are different, but that's what Maokai has to say about it.

The isles might form their own layer of reality in some way. One, in which some twilight is as close as you can get to daylight.

However, the properties of this "pocket-reality" might be varying tho, mostly to who hold the dominance over the isles and the mist. So at some places there might be ominous twilight, in the others darkest night, and in some very rare spots maybe even sunlight. All at once in reach of several hunderts meters from each other. It is indeed a weird place...

It's definitely possible that the mist is just that big. But Kyoki said it, it's also possible that the Isles are so unnatural to the world that it's almost separate from normal reality.

I think Shadow Isles is like a place of what Silent Hill had. It has its rules. You can't leave it until you're strong enough or get help from powerful beings.

So, it could show weather sunny to give you hope, to just of shattering what you dreamt. But in generally, I dont think sunlight would be enough to reach you if you were trapped in Shadow Isles.

WELL KOYKI IS PROBABLY, Right, LETS REMEMBER THAT IT SOMEHOW DRAWS ITSELF NEAR DIFFERENT PLACES OF RUNETERRA TO FUCK WITH PEOPLE EACH YEAR.

that is what the harrowing is, its the shadow isles teleporting parts of its mass to other parts of the world, usually carrying monsters. like hecarim, and morde. before we retconned summoners, they were beings that were defeated by other champions and captured by the league of legends, like nocturne. but now i assume thier thinking of ways to buttfuck ionia, since thats thier closest to natural enemy.
