Talon's old splash art looked good and looked like it fit him, but the new classic splash art... is hideous. I know that not many people seem to care since their aren't as many Talon players. But its similar to how bad Thumb Lee Sin looks, but since Lee has more people that play that champ they got more of a voice. Anyways Im just asking if Riot would consider changing or fixing Talon's splash art because that chin of his could cut through steel.
That is just the particular art style of the current splash artist. I mean have you seen Janna's chin? She could cut diamonds with it. Talon's isn't at all that bad, and in all honesty, i really like it. It captures his badassitude.
I think the new one does a better job at portraying him the way he is. The old one hardly indicated that he is actually a grown up man around his mid-forties or even older. The new one shows that and I think that's also why most people feel weird about it considering most think he is twenty something according to fan-art etc. Oh and his chin is fine, it's blocked by the fabric but it's not actually supposed to be pointy or anything.
Nah, I agree with the op. Too much action in the current one, I'd prefer a more silent yet menacing vibe from his splash. I mean he's not a soldier, he's an assassin. The old one did a better job of conveying that type of atmosphere, albeit could've been much better. On the subject of age, I think the confusion stems from the fact that talon is younger than katarina, but looks like 20 years older than her in his new splash.
I have to disagree. I dislike a lot of the new splashes (I HATE rengar's new one, loved his old one) but I personally think Talon's was an improvement, though I do agree that they could do a little something for his chin
