Riot Messing up the fluidity of the game

Every time Riot touches a champ that gains popularity they always get nerfed in some way, while also having some of their fluidity taken away. Talon for example got his auto Q reset taken away and for some reason doesnt fucking go off in a fluid motion and feels so fucking clunky. Zed's shadow Q is now also super fucking clunky. Now with Nidalee theyre taking away her fluidity as well. I dont understand why this is a problem if people put time in learning a champs ins and outs then they should be able to use this to their advantage. Riot doing this just makes the game unfun to play why the fuck would i want to play a champ who is fucking clunky as shit and feels like fucking trash to play that shit is fucking infuriating. NERF THE DMG instead of the fucking small things that make the game fun to play.

Interesting subject, I think. Not really sure where I personally stand on some of these things.

First issue: One of Riot's goals is clearly to make sure that the disparity between the skill floor and skill ceiling for most of their champions keeps them within a fairly accessible range. They don't like it when simply being able to function decently with a champion is locked up in more advanced mechanical knowledge, creating scenarios such as that where when a champion feels roughly balanced to your average scrub they are actually overbearing when mastered.

Another thing: Greater fluidity may frequently translate into low counterplay. Those milliseconds of reaction time bought by staggering a champion's ability to create impact are really important.

Don't particularly have anything to weigh in on the individual champion abilities you've mentioned. It's necessary for champions to have lower counterplay on certain parts of their kits depending on their purpose in order to feel good about their strengths, for sure. It's also good to have points of mastery in each champion. However, some things a designer will judge is kind of counterproductive to have players focus their mastery efforts on. For example, Riot has made huge continuous efforts to reduce PvE micromanagement over the lifespan of the game in the hopes of channeling player mastery more into strategy around objectives.

This is the kind of thing that causes a lot of strife between players and designers alike because of how much we value different small points of engagement within a product.

Is it just my imagination or was flash changed last season too? I remember I could be walking one direction, flash, and then I would proceed in that same direction, now it's like I flash, and then I'm completely stopped and need to click a direction again.

I could be imagining the whole thing, not sure...
