Calling the New Riven/Yasuo Skins Right Now

I've been seeing a lot of questions and confusion on this board about the new Riven/Yasuo skins, so I'll give my theory. These two skins will be free and will be content exclusive to the Missions System that should be launching in a couple of patches. I believe this is accurate because the banner art that depicted Riven and Yasuo was released on the PBE at the same time when Riot announced the Missions System. The banner:

Also, I don't think you'll be able to earn both skins. You'll only be able to earn either Dawnbringer Riven OR Nightbringer Yasuo. These two skin will work similarly to how the experimental Shield of Light missions for Leona and the Thief of Time missions for Ekko work. If you do one set of missions, you disable the other set and vise versa. Thoughts?

Good speculation, though!

These skins are going to be 1820 RP each, and are not mission exclusive.

The image you provided was actually a WIP piece we had for exploration early on. It wasn't meant to be a teaser, and was unfortunately leaked in one of the PBE builds when we were testing assets. I suppose it at least provided some hype, which is pretty rad. :3

I've always felt that since they showed the banner and the other little mission assets. They are meant to be something related to missions.

I personally like the post about it being a reward with the new honor system because yasuo and riven mains are the saltiest creatures that exist in league

I haven't read the comments yet, so I don't know if somebody else has already said this, but the missions that are currently on the pbs are just placeholders and will not be the missions that get released to live

Wouldn't this mean every champ in the game is going to receive a mission related skin, since not everyone owns Yasuo and/ or Riven.

This is a good thought I'll give you that but today's patch notes just started coming out on S@20 and from the looks of it they're going to be purchasable legendary skins, which makes sense since Riot will still want to make a profit and people like me may not like the idea of only having to choose one skin or the other. The missions I think, though, will determine mastery emotes, icons and possibly the ability to get one of these skins for free.

The skins have been previewed in a video already, as for not earning both, Riot wouldn't deny people skins like that.
