@Riot, How Long Until Runeterra Makes Sense Again? (When WIll The Lore Retcon Be Finished?)

Just wondering....

LoL's lore is still pretty unstable right now because of the inconsistent champion back-stories caused by the lore retcon, consequently, Runeterra doesn't really make sense anymore.

Do you guys have a projected date for when things will make sense again?

What are your narrative departments goals?

Please, tell us something about the new direction of the lore for once!

Is there another big event coming? Or are you guys too busy trying to make things make sense?

I'm sorry if I sound negative, buy seriously Riot, Your lore department has lost my confidence quite awhile ago. I still hope in vain that you'll bring back lore in a big way, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

I just wanna actually know what you're up to.

Seriously, it would be really nice if the Narrative department actually talked to us!

Well lets see which champs need a bigger retcon to make sense: Fiddlesticks Kayle Morgana Nocturne Chogath Jax LeeSin are the biggest problems as their backstories don't make sense at all without the IoW

smaller retcons would be necessary for Orianna (merely her death needs to be changed) & Nautilus (his ship was on a mission of the IoW)& Alistar (it is now unknown what he does after being freed)

Most of the other champs would be fine if they simply removed the lines at the end about the IoW(hope I didn't forget anyone)

Also they need to change the circumstances for the Ionia-noxus-war,as well as the way swain became the grand general of noxus(and technically why ashe and tryndamere married,as they originally married to become big enough to count as a nation for the IoW,but with the freljord conflict it makes sense that ashe marries tryndamere anyway)

Not to mention they also have to figure out what in the name of all things holy Evelynn and Shaco are.

As for the Ionia/Noxus war, since the League never had a hand wouldn't it mean that, if nothing else has been changed, Noxus still holds Navori, Shon-Xan and Galdrin? I suppose the next step would be figuring out how that would be resolved. It'd likely Varus Varus , since now he can actually kill those Noxian pigs, as they deserve!

Kalamanda and Swain's rise to power will definetly need some work to explain things, but everything should still be more or less in line with what happened prior, I'd suppose.

Ashe and Tryndamere getting married, as you said, works in the sense of the war; Ashe likely spent years gathering allies, and a big move like marrying the Barbarian King would be a major event to really solidify the Avarosan's position as one of Freljord's major powers, and speed up the process, with Sejuani declaring open warfare later down the line.

yeah,some champs will get retcons even if they still work perfectly fine without the league,some characters also could use a bit more characterisation

I think the ionia/noxus war will be resolved by Ao shin,since he is said to come to help ionia when it is in danger

The Kalamanda conflict could really remain largely the same,just with a different end(sions relaunch even hinted at leblanc impersonating/manipulating j4)
