just think about him while listning to this , about Noxus about their war with Demacia.their ideals and their generals! it just fits in so well! gotta love how its a mix of military and heroic theme.

Music team always work like this. they make sure that the song defines what that character is. like if you listen to the theme , and try to guess what kind of character they are and then read the lore , its highly possible that your guess was right!

this is true for skins and regions , events , possibily everything that Riot ever releases. thumbs up to them for that!

Noxus is not a force for good, but they're not evil.

Swain is very much morally grey.

He's a villain because Noxus needs a villain; it doesn't matter to him whether he's good or evil, only that Noxus is on top of the world, and that he stands at the top of Noxus.

I know they're not the same (Noxus and Russia). I'm saying there are an absurd amount of CLEAR parallels between Stalin's Russia, and Vlad!Swain + Russia.

I mean the splash artist said outright that he wanted the splash to look like a propoganda poster, and I don't know if you saw the picture but it sure as Hell wasn't an Allied Forces propoganda poster.

I mean there's nothing wrong with drawing inspiration, it's just starting to get a little into the "okay, we get it, they're Soviet" territory and it feels a bit too ham-fisted to me.

Pretty much my thoughts. Art looks like Soviet propaganda poster and his theme is not even subtle with Soviet Anthem references ( for example listen at 0:13, it repeats several times later on).
