About the retcons

Okay riot, we get it, you retconned the lore, I’ve gotten over that bit and looking towards the future. The institute doesn’t exist, the map of Valoran is no longer canon, that doesn’t bug me, what bugs me is if that isn’t canon, what is?

I was skeptical about retconning literally the entire premise of your game, especially since it seemed you simply wrote yourselves into a corner and decided to press the shiny red button that had a sticky note on it that said “don’t press”, but the possibilities with a world such as Runeterra were there, given a fresh start.

And we still have… Nothing. Lines still reference summoners, bios are still half a paragraph, singeds lore says hes still the god dam apprentice to warwick when warwicks says singed was his life long friend

In the great purge of lore 9 months ago, you claimed that the world is ever changing and as such the narrative will continue to follow suit, and yet the world has felt nothing but stagnant since. It's been nine months since we've scrapped for lore, and it's getting quite tiring.

You can retcon things all ya want riot, but without anything to replace them it’s useless.
