The problem with the VU was that Fiora didn't look like Fiora anymore.

I agree. It felt like Riot has double standards, where they try to push some champions into originality and move away from stereotypes, while doing exactly the opposite for her.
You could say they matched her looks with her silly stereotypical voice acting. She is now disgusting both ways.
