The gravedigger and the ferryman of the dead are two very different themes. While the first has it's origins in medival european stories, the ferryman dates back to the old Greeks who thought of Charon carrying the souls of the dead over the river styx.

Those are two very different archetypes and I highly doubt that's Yorick. They would not tolerate an undead that close. After all the harrowing fucks them over every time...
