I don't like how the texture rebalance for Ryze removes the emphasis on his tattoos and his scroll. I feel like it takes away a lot of character and detail (actually i just don't like most texture rebalances for this reason, but this one stands out to me), by taking the focus off of his tattoos and scroll, which if i'm not mistaken is the key source of his power. Anyway, just my 2 cents.
Hellioning5 votesI agree; I think the better texture rebalances are the ones that don't have that much detail to lose in the first place (zombie and pirate look fine, for example.)
I also don't like how unshiny Triumphant Ryze is, but since I'm never going to see that in game, I don't really care that much.

Shinirup4 votesI'm not a fan of a lot of the re-textures, find they make me feel like I am playing on an old analog TV where everything is poorly saturated and blurred. But yeah unskinned Ryze basically just looks like he is better suited for a shop keeper or librarian than a champion now; like he could be sitting next to the fuzzy beast with the shopkeeper on SR and wouldn't even notice him.

His tattoos stood out and his scroll just had the weird text just screaming I got some deep magic stuff going on. Now he just looks like a slim blue guy dragging around a blank roll of paper
LordHippoman2 votesYeah, I like the TU work, but I really like Ryze's tattoos, and they're meant to be the source of his magical power. I think them being visible and vibrant is a big part of him.
