@Riot, Can You Clearly Explain Your Strategy For Creating Future Lore/Story WIthin Runeterra?

TO BE CLEAR: This thread is not about hate, criticism, judgement or exact details.

There's just a lot of previously supported lore that for some reason or another, does not seem to be supported anymore, with no explanation. I'm talking about the awesome short stories about champions!

I'm just trying to understand what role Riot wants lore/story to play within the game in the longterm.

We've gotten a few posts from Rioter's in the past suggestion that fanfiction is an acceptable alternative for lack of lore. It's not. Riot later even admitted that they made a mistake in assuming so. Fan-ficiton is lore created by fans, but it is not cannon. Official lore must be created by Riot.

Riot, can you share what you are trying to accomplish with LoL lore/story in the longterm? Ideally, how does the lore of Runeterra fit into your game? What are you aiming for with your lore?

Why doesn't Riot produce lore that isn't tied to new champion's or events anymore? Why don't we hear about daily life in Runeterra anymore?

I'm not asking for specifics, just a broad idea of what Riot want's Lore/Story content to look like in the future of this game.

Yee I asked that too in some other thread. I asked if the new lore would explain the game we play somehow or if they're two separate things now.

Sadly, Riot has not officially responded to this kind of question yet.

Hopefully they will soon!
