Look closely. She doesn't have wings. It's a scarf. 'Sparrow' is just a nickname. Ok? Ok. Edit: still not wings, but they're actually her sleeves.
It isn't a scarf actually. They're the sleeves of her Ionian tunic. She even specifically mentions them in her lore. And then it looks like she trails her stones off them giving her a winged silhouette. My guess is that she swings the sleeves around like a sling to launch her attacks letting the stones fly off the ends.
